Valve has done this, now they can catch those who pirate HL and other Valve projects.

Really the RIAA and the MPAA dont go after people who download the copyrighted stuff. They go after the distributors. The people who host the files. If they went after everybody that steals copyrighted stuff. they would clog the Courts for 100 years.
