Most Likely. Highly depends on the ISP though. Usually when you sign up for service, the agreement is meant for that single household.

what about businesses and such? I still think you would have to have your name on the contract somewhere though..or they could just take your half of the money and still say you was stealing it :\
 
You know what I think? People should learn to encrypt their networks. If I remember correctly, there are quite a few states that essentially say it's okay if it's unencrypted.

Now, I'm not saying this woman isn't stupid. She is. Really really stupid. We have people like this come into the shop...most recently a woman came in asking if she could get a stronger wireless card so it would be easier to pick up her neighbor's internet. Nice.

I got one of my clients that is bugging me on how why his POP3/SMTP is not working because he was doing the same thing.
