Why dont we all hibernate........

mmm every time I tryed hibernate my audio didn't come back until restart. I havn't tried it on this install yet, but it must be something I use or disable because every version of windows standby and hibernate has never returned my audio.

Uh, the computer is still on..... Thus consuming more electricity than if it was off.

You can't sit there with a straight face and tell me that a Computer in Hibernation mode CONSUMES less electricity than a computer that is OFF.
 
you are confusing standby, which the computer is on but in a power saving state and hibernate, the computer is off and anything from the ram is saved on the hd when turned on everything is restored to the way it was.
