once I graduate I'm hoping to make at least 45-55k GBP per year...which is pretty **** good straight out of university...we'll see.

motorsport engineering at Oxford-Brookes...but i'm going to get a masters as well. 45+k is hopeful, I know...but there are many graduates making around that.

I have a friend who got a 4 year degree in graphic arts making 10 bucks a hour haha.

Software engineers make good money, but the position can be out sourced easily. Depends on your level of skill and qualification, you can make a decent living.
