What's a good MP3 player?

Hey guys,

My parents and I are going for a week vacation to Edmonton, Alberta, and i need an MP3 player that will be good for the long 1500-KM drive from Victoria, BC to Alberta, AB.

What would be a good buy for around $130 US or under?

Im thinking of something around 1GB, and internal memory, NO HD.

Whats a good MP3 player for me? I dont care about battery life or brand names, just something good for listening to music, LOL

Or this Sandisk Sanza 2GB looks good, with FM tuner...i just think that Sandisk is a lemon...your thoughts?

Check out iRiver. The one I use has 1GB internal memory, uses AA batteries, easy to learn to controls and has excellent sound.

How are the IPOD Nano's? What is the reason for paying $60 more than the competition? And would i have to use ITunes with it? Or is the IPOD compatible with WMP or Winamp?

iPod Nano's are okay, you could put Linux on it and play Doom, lol.

Or rock box, but yeah theres an iPod plugin for Winamp, but I dunno about WMP. I didn't think people actually use WMP...

BTW, i can't get stuff off Tiger Direct. My parents are dumb-a$$es, and they won't buy stuff online. Only locally.
