Well I am pissed. The right driver in my AT AD700 headphones seems to be giving out, as I can hear it rattling at louder volumes under bass notes. It's pretty distracting.
This is legitimately terrible news because I love the sound signature of the AD700s, and they are superbly comfy. I've heard all the newer AD700s have a design that is not as comfy, and that's a big deal when you wear them 6 hours at a time.
I can't really be too angry at Audio Technica, they've gotta be 7 years old now, been used for hours practically every day, and dropped/banged hundreds of times. The cable has been rolled over by my chair hundreds of times too. It's fair to say I have not baby'd them, and now I pay the price
Now I need too search for some reasonable price headphones that are super comfy :\ or I just stop listening to loud music as I can't hear it when it's quiet.
