Giant spider eats space shuttle!!

THESE were the terrifying scenes as a huge spider descended from the heavens and appeared to take a BITE out of the space shuttle Atlantis.

The eight-legged freak was caught on webcam apparently attacking the ship as it awaited lift-off at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Crawl over the place ... spider edges across lens

TV viewers watched in horror as the giant beast nibbled the shuttle's nose-cone, then wrapped its body round the craft's powerful rocket boosters.

yo guys, I think you missed the whole point of this story.

They were filming a launch, and a spider got in front of the lens and started walking around. Towards the end of the video, it actually looks like it's eating up the space shuttle.
