Web site font size

Hello. I believe that there are 'too' many web sites in the world that are..what I could say are 'font' sized challenged.

I have seen many web sites that look interesting..if only I could read the text
in a much more comfortable manner.

Does anyone agree? And what is to be done?

Zoom in on the web page
Increase font-size in Windows
Override the font size in the browser's settings (Chrome has this, I believe FF does as well, not sure about IE/Edge).
