Due to lack of any good comparisons between 939 Athlon and Opteron cores and due to the frequency of that question, I would like some "test subjects" in order to create a rough comparison chart...therefore, I require owners of the following:

Athlon 64s ranging from 1.8GHz to 2.8GHz...cores have to have 1MB L2 Cache

Athlon 64 X2s ranging from 1.8GHz to 2.6GHz...cores need 1MB + 1MB L2 Cache

Opteron Single cores ranging from 1.8GHz to 2.8GHz with 1MB L2 cache

I have a dualie opteron that I can test at any number of speeds but you can submit yours if you wish...I would like test configurations similiar to mine:

DFI Lanparty Ultra-D
1GB RAM @ roughly 200MHz
6800 vanilla with unlocked pipes/shaders OR 6800GS AGP with unlocked pipes/shaders OR stock 6800GT OR stock 6800GS PCI-E

If you would like to participate, I need to send me a CPU-ID verified and futuremark ORB project link with your specifications as well as your results from any of the following:

SuperPi 1M
SuperPi 32M
3Dmark03 CPU score
3Dmark05 CPU score
3Dmark06 CPU score
FEAR stress test 1024x768 HIGH settings no AA/AF/HDR
Source stress test 1024x768 HIGH settings no AA/AF/HDR

Or any other benchmark you would like to submit...thanks

My parents computer is AMD Athlon 64 2800+ 1.8 Ghz, but i am unsure about the core...its 512 KB i think.

2800+'s don't have 1MB L2 cache's i don't think

i WOULD volunteer but it seems like my computer is like somewhat outdated now -.-

You will have trouble getting a 1.8ghz AMD 64 CPU with 1mb cache.
