how would i...let's say have a picture of a dog (let's say it's like a 2500x2500 picture)

the video is only showing a portion of it on the very corner, and then i'd make the video like act as if it's like flying or like sliding across the picture and then stop on the place that I want..kinda like the video sliding/flying across...for ex. a local baseball team wants to show off its sponsors so it would have the video like have the screen slide across their site of all their sponsors

sorry if i'm being vague..it's kinda hard to explain

i have both vegas and premier

Don't know if this is the same for the program you use.

But the method I prefer is to put it on another video timeline that basically goes on top of your main one and you basically insert the object and make it last for the whole movie.

in vegas, go to tool>video>Track Motion. Make sure the video clip is selected first. You will get the Track Motion box and you can move the video around the screen. You will have to set the positions for different points in time. Using the timeline at the bottom of the box, you need to set keyframes, which are basically checkpoints of where the video should be at that keyframe (marker in time). It may take a little bit to understand, but just play with it for a while... you'll get it.

You know something.. Im not good at telling directions...
If you want.
Just PM with a link to a place I can download the picture, and I will send you the .prproj
All you have to do is render it, and export it.

Here is something that I made that is related to what you want to do:
(note I made this for someone else, it has nothing to do with me)

<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" pluginspage="http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/MediaPlayer/" name="mediaplayer1" ShowStatusBar="true" EnableContextMenu="false" autostart="false" width="320" height="240" loop="false" src="http://www.nrqproductions.com/uploads/danny.wmv" />

"The project could not be loaded, it may be damaged or contain outdated files."

What version of premier pro are you using? I think it's because we're using different versions.
