You know what? If it's increasing now, it's only going to get worse in the future, possibly meaning an even bigger ordeal to get rid of it. This is casual advice, so no liability or guarantee here, but I'd say go for it, because while it may be tough for a while, if you don't, you may really regret it later when it's an even bigger problem.

Unfortunatly I can't get the operation done yet, or I would have by now. I have to wait until the underbite stops pertruding at the rate is is, so I can get it set without any future movement.

I might have been a little bit over exhagerating this. It's not like my jaw is popping out and making me look like this :

What the future lies for it is what concerns me so far.

I'm glad I had an overbite then. Braces for 9 months, then a retainer for a year and a half.

i have terrible teeth . i'm about to get my wisdom teeth ripped out so that they can fix the rest of mine. i say when you can get the operation have it.
