Tiger Direct....did they get a new marketing team?

so i get this emial from tiger direct (subscribed, just like i do from newegg, and many of you guys are too)
it reads

BREAKING NEWS: TigerDirect.com President Subpoenaed by US Congress…‏

so i open it up.....only to find this pic

lol, i click on it and....same ol stuff. but really corky advertisement this time TIGER!
I actually thought tigerdirect was in troble for a hot second. (before i opened up the email)

I will say Tigerdirect used to be one my fav retailers... But ever since they screwed a $800 order up... I haven't even recomended them....

I never liked TD. Only used them in the shop when we had to.

I don't shop at TD any more. I bought a laptop from them once and received a model that was clearly used, had some scratches on the bottom, the screws were stripped, and had a defective optical drive. I did get a full refund and even got my shipping refunded after I reamed them on Amazon but that complete lack of QA is unforgivable especially when I can just shop somewhere else.

Tiger Direct in canada is alright. Its the only place I have bought computer stuff online But I have never had to return anything and have gotten exactly what I ordered every time.
