For graphing, simply press the [GRAPH] button, and enter your equations (be sure you are in the correct mode for what you want to graph). To see the graphed function, press [2nd][F5] afterwards, or simply [F5] if you are not under the equations menu.

It's been a while since I've touched an 86, but hopefully that helps.
