actaully ive seen this done, except the guy used a cardboard box and made various planned slits in the box to make it into a circle to cover the fan and he made the egdes of the cardboard to cover the very top of this case and go all the way around it and then took several 120mm fans to blow into the box fromt he sides and top and took a 120 to put on the otehr side of his case running at like 5700rpm so his noise leverl was like 54db but his cfm on the exhaust fan was crazy like close to 200 cfm. if i can find where it was ill send a link
