Im cool with the whole Advanced Forum thing, as long as it doesn't steal all of the intelligent people from the regular TF

As I read it, think of TF2 as just an additional forum added to the main site, but with a restricted posting roster.

I'm looking forward to it. Not having twelve varieties of "How do you set up dual monitors?" and whatnot.

(sorry, it's just another forum I go to, the special section which you have to be mod / admin / paying VIP, people say it contains porn, but it really doesnt)

Last I heard mike was doing something for google these days....I envy that dude...he's like 25....and is already set for life. He knows networking like it's nobodies business...it's insane.

I remember in the mod section back when I still was a mod he was talking about taking a leave for a bit because of work and he's all "I highly recommend this hotel I'm staying at" and the damn hotel was like $475 a night lol....hell that's barely under 1 months rent at the apartment I used to live at.

Ya these hotels can be friggin insane! It's not like they are all inclusive either. They get you in to the expensive hotel and they you pay shit loads of money to do OTHER stuff when you are there!

When I won this competition last year myself and the other winners were put in this crazy hotel by the government. Think it was like $550 a night for the room I was in. Good to see them spending the tax payers money so well by the way . We were put up for 3 nights

I wasn't totally impressed with the room. It was just the same room you'd find at Holiday's Inn or whatever for $150. But the rest of the hotel was amazing. They had everything yo. But everything else cost money

He linked us to the hotels webpage (dont ask for it now, this was months ago) and it showed a picture of the rooms and they were friggen HUGE...hell my house doesn't look as nice as that room did lol

lol. Some of those rooms are crazy man! Unfortunately we didn't get to stay on a HUGE HUGE rooms. Those things are easily $1000+ . My one just had a bed, tv, fridge, washroom, and the other standard things, in a standard square room. For $550 bucks? Damn! I think they basically charge for the other parts of the hotel. It looks like a friggin castle!

Maybe I'm a little off topic here (and the topic is kind of old), but what happened to these forums? I came in one day and there is a ton of different sub forums and such, I am confused. I am sure there is a thread somewhere about it but I cannot find it.

Oh, the TF2 seems great! I haven't been on these forums in a while b/c quite frankly, I don't really like the new setup of these forums (too many subthreads).
