Ok today I was trying to explain some computer stuff to me gf today.

Gf: "Can you explain it using bunnies?"
Me: "Wow, I am surprized, bunnies work pretty well for this."


What are some of the funnier things you have had to say/do/say to help some one understand what you were explaining to them?

I'm more of a visual learner so if i'm explaining computers to my old lady, i pull off the cover and show off my hard drive. I also demonstrate how the RAM stick fits into the slot. after that there is demonstration of cycles per second.

If someone doesnt understand I just speed through being as vague as possible, cause most of the time i'm rambling on anyhow. This does somethign or other to that then it goes here and stuff happens. then they nod and go 'so what else is up?'

Or its peopel that know what i'm talking about and don't need to explain anything.
