maybe your roomate is a tard and protests the war. but it doesn't warrant the kind of blanket statement like you said.

Not my room mate, its my sister. there is a lot of ****ed up stuff she has done an said that i can never forgive her for.

not at all. you have freedom of speech, period. there are only specific types of speech for which you have to pay consequences for as it is not protected under our Constitution. these are fighting words, incitement, and obscenity

I find his attitude "obscene", he is entitled to expressing his opinion. But his attitude was far from professional.

Who is to say someones judgment of "obscene" is going to be the same as another's?

he was resisting arrest , what teh H*ll do you thing the cops are suppose to do! He got what was coming

I agree with Trotter. This kid was way out of line. When you go to one of these things, there are certain rules set up. Number one, this kid jumped ahead and took over. He made a long statement and then said I have more than one question that you will answer because you had your hour (mind you, this kid seemed to be a democrat so his rudeness is a little confusing). He then began asking question after question until he was asked to leave. He did NOT leave, so the two security guards grabbed him by the elbow to escort him. He THEN jerked away and screamed are you seeing this? This is against my freedoms. He resisted over and over again. He also said, while still struggling, don't taz me, I'll leave (while struggling). Yeah, he had it coming. He was being a ******.

that's why that kind of stuff ends up in courts to be ultimately decided. one judges definition of obscenity: "i'll know it when i see it" or in this case, hear it. obscenity varies from community to community, which is why there are no specific laws regarding it

I could go either way, part of how the officers handled it was wrong. And the person who got in trouble could have handled himself differently.
