Hey TF :D
I'm at school right now and I'll admit... I love T1 :D:D:D:D:D
but it sucks thought becasue im on a dell :( (spyware infested at that...with.. norton :( :()
Im an idiot though because i forgot my jump drive at my house :(

(pointless thread)

My school's T1 is slow as hell because since they're too cheap to buy antispyware and virus software every single port is closed, so it takes forever for pages to load. PCs are also a mix of old Dells and new Gateways.

My school's record speed was 66 - 33 meg, but I mix up and down together.

Usually I can upload at 5 meg at peak times however.

School's computers getting malware? I don't know who designed those networks, but that's something that should NOT be happening. I would hope confidential student information is kept on seperate systems if they're that unprotected...:amazed:

Why shouldn't they all run Linux? That would solve a number of problems, not to mention save them significant money on licensing costs :D
