I think the whole sick day things could be argued.

Sick doesn't necessarily imply a physical illness.

Terrible Example: (Girlfriend gets dumped by her long time boyfriend, calls in sick, and sits on the couch crying, watching soaps, and eating ice cream.)

I don't think that sounds too out there.
