I know I helped out a lot of members in the past, but I still feel like a n00b sometimes. Partly cause I didn't post very must in the past months, I think. I don't care that much about hardware cause it changes all the time. I learned a lot on these forums. But many ppl have better software skills than me. I used to know a lot about stuff like Windows installation, file systems, partitioning, and hard disks. I read a lot about it, but I just can't remember everything. I want to know more about media files/encoding. I forget more and more over time. It just makes me sad.

Hey everyone forgets stuff Major. That's just part of life. The important thing is to know what/how things can be done. The actual details, you can always look up :)..

You were always way better at the software aspect of computers than I ever was....I know what you mean though....I got all crazy into the components, and then they started changing so damn rapidly....seems like I haven't really learned anything new and interesting in a while

Just think, the people that wouldnt hire me to work in a computer store, just spammed this forum.

Soo ironic...

When I knew just about everything about hardware was back when the 9800xt was the best card money could buy.

Dude,

You can not be an expert on all areas with computers. There is just so much stuff that is out there.
In the IT Game, it better to be Specialise in a area or a few areas, as appose to being a JACK-OF-ALL-TRADES-MASTER-OF-NONE
