Steam profanity [rant]

i think that steam (as in valve's piece of faecal excretion) should be treated as a profane word on these forums because it is as insulting to the gaming community like words such as ****, ****, ***, ******** etc

Same here. I haven't had any problem with it, ever. Even on my friends dial up comp, downloads were longer, but that's expected obviously.

It's sad how half-life 2 is rated lower than many other games just because you have to download it through steam.

I hate steam with a passion. It would be so much easier to run games without it. Not to mention half of their 'features' are always under construction and buggy.
