Speaking Spanish

i was wondering if there is anyone on here who can speak spanish and who would have a conversation in spanish with me, as im trying to learn the lanuage but have no-one to speak to. My second option is to just ring someone up on Skype in spain and just start talking to them lol

Yeah, but what type of spanish are you taking? The stuff they teach you most of the time is from spain, and hispanics in the us dont really talk that way. Theres different dialects of spanish, just like Australian, British, and American English. Im puertorican, and we tend to use a lot of slang, so some words you may not recognize, just to let you know.

For example, they may teach you:

Proper:
Hola, mi nombre es daniel. (Hi, my name is daniel.)

Slang:
Que la que hay, a mi me dicen daniel. (What up, they call me daniel.)


Proper:
Hola amigo, esa mujer se ve linda. (Hello friend, that woman looks pretty.)


Slang
Qye chico, esa nena esta buena. (Hey man, that girl look good.)


As you can see, best way to learn is through a native speaker.

yea i get what you mean, where you say "Que la que hay" i would "Que tal estas" so anybody a native speaker?
