Yep. Here in Western Kansas, we call it pop. I've known western Kansas to be around Dodge City; though it seems that for some reason this dialog takes place :

Other person from Eastern Kansas : So where you from?

Me : Western Kansas.

Other person from Eastern Kansas : So, around Salina then ?

Me : That's Central Kansas. Western Kansas is Dodge City; Cowboy and Indian Country.
