I work with the public and guess what, 2 customers that I have helped are within 5 miles of my home.
One of those dudes always comes in preaching about the bible, god blessing everybody he talks to.

3 out of the 12 sex offenders in my area are teachers from my school (well they were all fired but they were teachers)
and i can name two more i know for a fact are getting it on with a few girls i know

i had a teacher at my old school for a long time. was my sisters tutor, and taught me science in year 7 (when i was 12) and he got convicted and labeled and now everyone knows his name face and business

what did he do? he had some kiddie porn on his computer. a threat to public? i dont think so...

also we had a techie who was 20 or so at my old school who got fired for having a relationship with a 17 year old girl i know. he got fired and they carried on shagging afterwards too. completely legal, he just lost his job.

My previous house mate got lynched by Child Protection Act. He's a school teacher. He also used to have a LiveJournal Page.
One day, he made a comment about 2 of his students being a pair of "F**King Idiots".
A few days later, the kids found out, and so do the parents.
His though that his school contained the matter. However some of the parents wanted their pound of flesh. So the department go involved. He gets suspended from school while he was undergoing investigation. And in the meantime, the romour mill started. BS like "He set up cameras in the girl's change room" and other BS like that.
2 - 3 weeks later, he's allowed to return to school, and straight away he was treated like some pedophile that got away by his students and the parents.
