Default See ya guys, I am off to see The King

Just so that i can say that I did go some where over my christmas break, I am off to Parkes, NSW for the Parkes Elvis Festival.

And in the main time, I am going to see few other things in the area. Like the The Dish and a few other thing that are in the area

I have seen that movie.
The funny thing about that film was most of that was filmed in Forbes.

Politician: Turns out that Parkes is the biggest radio telescope in the Southern Hemisphere.
Prime Minister: What's it doing in the middle of a sheep paddock?
Cliff Buxton: ... and it's still in the middle of a sheep paddock.

And I am planning on making a trip out there to see the dish. I was about to do some thing about that a 5 months back when I was at the Grenfel Guinie Pig Races. But the whether was just bad and I figure it was not worth the extra travel and the slug back home on long week end monday traffic. So I planned to go back to that area on during the Elvis Festival.

I had a great time in Parks and the Surronding area.

I have seen the movie "The Dish" and I have seen lot of pictures. However it's not until you see it up close that you realise how big it is.

What?!!? We can not play cricket!

I will upload some pict from the elvis street perade shortly.
