running shoes for Boot camp :)

hey guys well Im going to boot camp for the coast guard in a few months and i need to finally start doing some excercise, im wondering what are some good shoes for walking,running or doing exercise in General. thank you. Ive never really wore running shoes only skating shoes thanks- John

Get the iPod shoes, roffles.

goto the shoe store, and try some on. get whatever fits your foot right = more important than brand name or bells & whistles.

When I get shoes, i go for price. If it's cheap, i'll buy it.

From what i've heard about military issue boots... I wouldn't get to used to comfy sneakers. Because once you strap on those boots... You're feet will turn blistered and painful.

I'd go with New Balance also... They make nice cross trainers.

Combat boots are awesome once they are broke in. It's the miles to break 'em in that hurt.

Yeah, combat boots suck. Gave me shin splits when I was in basic. New Balance are good shoes! One word of advice when you get to basic.. don't volunteer for anything unless your going for an award!!!
