Oh man root beer is soo good! Its one of the only pops (or soda depending on where in this rediculous country you hail from) that I can drink. Drat, the poll is split 4 to 4, I was hoping a blowout by one or the other, I have yet to cast my own vote.

Around here, everything is Coke. Even if you want a Pepsi, it is called Coke. Not sode. Not pop. Coke. As in:

"I'm going to the store you want anything?"

-"Yeah, get me a Coke."

"What kind do you want?"

-"Mmmm...get me a Dr Pepper."

Did I mention that SE Tennessee drinks the most Coca-Cola per capita in the world?

when i make floats i usually scoop the ice cream into the glass first. because this way i can fill the cup/glass with as much ice cream as possibe.

sure it leads to more foam, but oh well. the vanilla ice cream is the best part, then depending on the size of the glass you can unload half a can into it, so thats another plus. two people and you just use one can of soda

but yeah, i perfer foam over too much soda and not enough ice cream

suppose you could find the closest A&W and ask them what they do!
