roof rack

ok, i have a 97 expedition. my ENTIRE cargo area behind the second seat is taking with car audio. i carry around alot of stuff, and it mostly just sits in my middle seats, but i have alot of people ride with me alot of the times. so im thinking of getting one of those big roof racks (that mount to the stock roof racks i have) and attaching some large toolboxes on it. i carry around stuff like: backpack, basketball, raquetball rackets/balls, and just misc stuff. anyone see any reason not to buy one or even make one?

Had one and loved it short of some problems with certain parking garages.
2 kids + 1 dog means no room for stuff.

thats what im thinking. that or one of those hitch things you can put a toolbox on

sounds like you got the same problem i have that some of these days you need to clean your car out.
