I think that would be a cool idea.

Forget the math, go to a world clock site, plug in the 12pm EST and list all the different time zones in a post.

For example, on July 20th @ 12pm EST ( really EDT) would be:
11am CDT
10am MDT
09am PDT
and so forth and so on....

Remember that we have global members!
