rate my computer from 1 to 10 for gaming

i want you to rate my comp for gaming
the basics are:
amd64 3000
800fsb
1g ram
ati radeon 9800 pro
4 fans
120g hard drive
logitech 680 5.1 speakers
19 in monitor

what is the speed of the ram?
im assuming it's not dual channel...
what is the speed of the hard drive?
it would be faster if you had a RAID configuration...

6 being average, I would say 7.5-8.5 or so. Some high RPM HDDs and a nice LCD would improve things, but you didnt even list all the specs.

ATI will whip the hell out of nvidia any day. You seen the new reviews of thier 560 or whatever the hell thier 256mb card is? The raedon 9800 pro beat it by a LITTLE bit. ATI's 128mb card beat nvidias 256...*laugh*

i would still have to agree that the radeon would be the card of choice.

so i think the main improvement you could make to that machine to make it even better would be to get dual serial 10,000rpm hard drives, and then put those bad boys in a RAID config.

actually crt(s) are better than lcd(s) for gaming 8 out of ten. i Didn't know the 64 bit amd had a external bus of 400. I thought it was 200. but anyway u put it nice rig
