The computer was called "Mother". Commander of the mission talked to the computer in the movie.

And the cat was named Jonesy. Sigourney Weaver was looking for the cat, crawling around in her undies. I guess everyone was too distracted to hear what she was saying...

LOL... well, she called it Jonesy, but my attention was riveted more on the screen than my ears...
