I really did not like the way that the media was making it out to be Singapore WANTED to make an example of Van Nguyen. Keep in mind, they have there legal system to maintain.
If they let an Australian off the hooked today, who's next?

It's almost like they are treating the guy as if he had diplomatic emmunitiy
 
I don't know....personally I'm all for bringing back public executions in america :D Maybe it'll cause people to think twice about doing something wrong........however I'm talking about really horrible people, killers, rapists, things of that nature....drugs.......well, I don't know about execution....maybe just taking off a limb or so :p

well what the hell CAN they do?
he's not immune to their laws just because he doesn't live there.

if you're going to live or go to a country, you obey its laws. simple as that.

he's not getting my sympathy.
he was a drug dealer. Singapore was carrying out its laws.

like johnny howard really cares for use working class law abiding citizens in the first place. What's one law breaking drug runner to him?
