Japan is far moer advanced than us. I dont see anybody here w/ 40meg DSL.

and good ol' UK is lagging behind... the phone lines to my house apparently cannot handle more than 1mbps for out house

it depends where in italy you go, but most upscale and modern areas will have internet access

Don't get too many hopes up for a WiFi hotspot, but you can expect to find a cybercafe. That is, as long as the place you are going to is fairly large. Not like a village.

DSL is run on phone lines. I think that's what he meant.

Oh.......meh lol. I dont even have DSL in my area so i was just talking about dial up.
