Well it's confirmed I'm now going. Somehow managed to score some reserved seats on top of two friends basically begging me to go. Hoping it's not a disaster like last year.
So far the only game I'm looking forward to playing is Desert Combat.

Only reason i'd go is to listen to John Carmacks talks. I watch them every year on youtube. Love that guy, one of the most intelligent dudes i've ever heard, and I agree with him with regards to almost everything he says (at least when I understand what he's saying).

Yea I don't believe he will be there next year as he left ID for Oculus. I don't listen to the Keynotes while I'm there, but I do watch the streams on Youtube when I get home. Too much to do when I'm there.
In case anybody actually comes to this thread for info, vids, pics whatever. I did not make it into the BYOC this year because the guy sold the seats before we got there. We made due though.
