could the bidding be padded..... yes..

but its makes you wonder when ebay users with 200+ feedback are playing in the $2,000 range for a ps3.

Heh, I would at least expect free shipping if you are paying thousands of dollars.

On a related note, everyone who put a bid on one of those deserves to be shot, drawn and quartered.

I read that Ebay will be shutting down PS 3 auctions as many (almost all) will be fraud.

I saw one auction this morning that was up to over 9 million dollars!!! -- yeah, gotta expect the bogus factor here!
