Is providing a stream of live TV illegal?

Thanks guys. The reason i wanted to do it was because i was sick of not having a tv to watch tv on when my brothers (3 of them all 25+ and im only 15) were hogging it. Sure i can get the tuner card but that's when i thought of the idea of rebroadcasting it so others can watch via the net.

Im also awaiting FreeTv's response.
