AMD just released their 3rd quarter numbers and it shows that their Revenue was up 23% and their Profit was actually down. Which is primary due to their resent price slashing for over 50% on all of there desktop processors.

It's going to be interesting to see what their 65nm CPU's can do in comparison to intels. It might be make or break for them in their profit margins.

That's a grand each when you buy a pallet of 1000. That cost is going to more than double once wholesalers/retailers get ahold of them and add their own mark up.
