Powerpoint Presentations, well, Pointless.

It seems on a powerpoint presentaion your brain absorbs very little information because it can not absorb both Verbal and Visual information well at the same time. So thats powerpoint out the window. I personally think its a load of rubbish.

It's crap. People today have shorter attention spans due to television. So, instead of looking at how TV shortens it, they try to put blame on using slides in presentation.

What part that real irks me is when the presentor as used powerpoint to display his/her speach. And they are just reading what is on the powerpoint presentation WORD for WORD!

The other thing that i hate is when people put up meaningless graphs (powerpoint or otherwise) just becaue graphs look good.

that's ********. the brain actually learns BETTER with a combination of learning methods. anyone who learns less because there's BOTH verbal and visual info. is probably mentally retarded
