I am fortunate that I am in a way better place mentally than I was a year ago. I was a mess. That was rough. Im okay now, though. What sucks is when the thing you care about most that gets you down is something unfixable, no matter what. It's just physically impossible to resolve it. So you just gotta suck it up.

So my net has been operating at a crawl for the past couple of weeks. For a while it was barely working enough to do some downloads and multi-user game. I thought it was just the ATT gateway being a pile and kept being lazy instead of power refreshing it and my Ubiquity gateway. Today I went to download Malewarebytes to do my monthly scan on my PC and it was going at....500KB/s. Server was downloading from the seedbox at a whopping 7Mb/s. All day yesterday I was experiencing lag spikes in RL from 4 to 500 on PC and 30 to 800 on PS4. Today I couldn't even buffer a 360p Youtube video instantly. Decided it was time. PC clean, servers clean, laptop clean, work laptop clean, GF PC clean.....the kids. Scanned 5 year olds, clean, scanned 9 year olds WHOA HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS. 4110 individual cases of Malware and like 20 extra BS apps on his machine. Yanked that wifi so fast I might have broke the USB dongle. An hour later and Malwarebytes is still trying to clean it up. I'm just gonna format that bitch and needless to say his internet priv is yanked until further notice. Luckily they're on a VLAN but ****.

I'm having similar problems with my Net. The system it self is fine but I'm consistently loosing connectivity and having total blackouts on my line. Then again what can I do about it in reality because I've bumped Virgin, Sky, Fuel Broadband, and BT.

Theirs not much left too choose from in the way of ISP s so I'm stuck with talk talk. Simple tbh. Pay my bill and I'll be fine.

Have to keep Power resetting the router and run a VPN to avoid total shut-down.

I also have a proxy sub, what is keeping my *** hidden for the time being from talk talk but meh. I don't use it often.

In my case it was just the kid having too much bull**** on his PC essentially ddosing me from the inside. I'm sure all of it was hammering the outside line with connections.

Gotta love kids lol, my little bro was doing the same thing with his late night porn searches viruses everywhere. His access is now cut as well plus any computing devices confiscated after 7pm.

He was clicking ads all over the place. I once checked his history and it went to porn then realized the source was from a site that linked back to an ad off Youtube.
