Potentially the longest thread in history...

Re: Today I have...

Yea, that's the ****s....literally!

Last night I watched True Grit. Good flick...typical Coen Bros. Today is my last day at this job then Monday I start a new job as a SharePoint Consultant. Should be an exciting opportunity.

Re: Today I have...

Today I fixed the cover on the hot tub as the rain we're getting made the snow too heavy for it to handle. This afternoon I'm going to be finishing my packing for my week long trip to Mazatlan.

2 words, "bad headache", and im glad no one here has me on facebook because a few friends posted pictures lol. Not entirely sure why i was wearing one pink sock this morning though....0.O

hmm, i found out that it was my GF's sock, i really still don't know how i ended up wearing it... i went and picked her up from the friends house that she crashed at last night (they wanted girl time apparently lol) and she was saying that she was wearing one of my big white socks lol. Odd conversation....

Having been here for four years, you might've realised there's a rule that we're not allowed to help you log other people :p

I am guessing he meant that one of the options you have is keylogging the person to find clues to who it was.
But there should be other ways... Have you considered backing up your own personal settings and history for a web browser? Maybe keep it in a dropbox folder on the computer also. I think that can be done.

Re: Today I have...

Back home now. Turns out we didn't have to pay a dime, the problem was with the pipes owned by whoever runs the sewerage system in our area. Used house insurance to claim for some specialist commercial cleaners, as it had came out of the bathroom and all into the hallway and even some rooms near to the toilet. They have done an amazing job, there was a team of 4 using all kind of equipment i had never seen before in my life, and if you had seen the mess and smelt it you would be positive you would have to totally refurbish and redecorate the area. But 10 hours after they had started they rang us to say they had finished and we got back and it was totally clean like a brand new house, and smelt as fresh as the outdoors :D I will never know how they did it.

Anyway i've just finished packing, flying out from London Heathrow to Geneva, Switzerland later today. From there we will be driving too the Portes du Soleil ski area in Haute Savoie, France and staying in the Morzine/Les Gets resort for 1 week. Should be fairly good, unfortunately they have had crappy weather. Between 2 and 4celcius at the height of each day for the past 4 days, and only 20cm of snow in depth at the bottom of the resort. Higher up it should be fine, 90cm, plenty for skiing but actually still not much snow. It gets better, negative temperatures until the end of Wednesday when it gets warmer again with rain at the valley bottom.. which is not fun to ski in. But hey it's the weather, can't do anything about it, so will have to make the best of just being with the extended family as there are 9 of us going. On the plus side it looks like quite a nice place we get to stay in, bit of a crappy photo though:

I'll go into details later, but let's just say I am tempted to send a Captains Log to the company.
