What sale...? My wife bought it using my account a while back, and I just noticed today, so I downloaded it to my phone

Playing on a phone with a larger screen is much easier. I could never stand gaming on my 4" Captivate but my 4.3" Galaxy s2 is much more pleasant to game on. I image a larger phone like the Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy Note would be even better.

Size is not the problem at all. I hate gaming on the iPad too - the only games that work well are games like scrabble and angry birds. I just like my buttons I guess.

I hate it when my Vita forces me too use the touch screen, and thats 5".

Instead of a vita I'll cary around my xbox controller. Plug her in and game on 10.1" screen ftw, no longer "defeating the purpose" of having a tablet

Xbox controller is kinda big. As is a tablet.

May as well take a gaming laptop

Assuming you're already carrying your tablet around. xbox controller isn't that much bigger than a vita (and costs a lot less).
