Potentially the longest thread in history...

Re: Today I have...

I never took it out and apparently it came out on its own :shrugs:
In the event that it stays in and is in contact with blood, it eventually dissolves.
Regarding prosthesis, bone repair, etc. Surgeons and various specialist doctors ran into this problem, the body was such a hostile environment that your immune system would essentially attack foreign objects and break them down. Wood and iron would eventually be broken down if used in the body. That is why Titanium and stainless steel are primarily used today.
Just a random bit of info.

Re: Today I have...

Quick! Forget your taxes again!

Today I had 2 doctor appointments, and I left with some Botox in me! Trying to relax some tight muscles. We'll see.

Isn't it interesting the ways we can use such a potentially potent poison? 11 pounds of botox is more than enough to kill the entire human population if administered correctly. Of course, the cosmetic botox is the much safer kind.

Assuming the use of Botulinum C1, lethal dosage in humans varies (depending on size) from ~40-80ng. At an average of 60ng per person then, one would be able to eliminate 4.6 billion people with 10lbs. We're currently at ~6.9 billion total world population, so that'd leave 2.3 billion.

If you honestly think "using new technology = quality" then you have NO idea what the word "quality" really means.

I could write a crappy script using new technology, it would still be crappy. Could also write an awesome script using old technology. That would be good quality.
this was in regards to using the proven tech of IP.Board vs burning board

so this can be said about Chrysler's products. They may put a buncha newfangled stuff in it, but they are still cheap POSes that break down all the time.

My family went through 4 caravans in 12 years. 3 of those were new. they constantly needed the tranny repaired and replaced all the time. they needed serviced constantly!

but any hondas or toyotas that we had were awesome. subarus were excellent as well. we only sold some of those because my dad needed money to pay for medical bills and one civic we resold for 8K and it barely ran. they have good value and retain it. if it were a ford or chrysler pos it would have sold for 200 for parts.

my dad had a toyota tacoma that was built like a tank! it went through any kinda terain with the greatest of ease and was awesome! only thing that killed it was a victim of being close to another exploding vehicle.

Re: Today I have...

To expand on this post I have found one aspect of the monitor that is less than stellar, black depth and shadow detail. i never noticed this before since I was always viewing bright colorful stuff like my windows desktops or Web Sites. However when I went to explore some caves in Minecraft the issue was very apparent. Apparently this is a common issue for IPS displays that most reviewers seem to gloss over but it's a pretty serious one if you are displaying a bunch of dark content like games.
The U2312 is a 6-bit panel. That's why it's cheap compared to the U2310, which is an 8-bit panel.

Are you talking about the GameInformer review? That one ****ed me off, too. There's nothing wrong with the PSV, and for a handheld, it's a beast. Comparing it to the PS3 isn't fair. For what it is, and was intended to be, Sony did a great job. You can't expect more out of it then what was intended when it was designed. I know I can't wait to get mine.

Yeah. Well most of the reviews are rubbish. The Tech blogs did a better job than the game magazines. It makes sense I guess, they tend to be run by people more in the know, and understand the hardware.

I can't wait to get mine either. Having a tricky time choosing which games to preoder, fortunately I have way more money now so can afford 4 games. So far have chosen Rayman, Golden Abyss, Marvel vs Capcom 3, and Virtua Tennis 3. The issue i'm having is I want games that show off the power of the Vita so I can impress my family and friends :p But then the best reviewed games are 2d side scrollers ! (Rayman, Lumines). No one is going to be impressed by a side scroller. Virtua Tennis 4 is supposed to look awesome, but i'm not sure if i will get into a Tennis game all that much. And then there is Wipeout 2048, which looks good, but just like the console version it looks like you spend a lot of time bouncing off walls as the vehicles handle like crap.

So I end up changing my game line up on a daily basis..

Are any American cars genuinely built well ? I'm not trying to flame or argue with people but the general consensus is over here that American and French cars for what its worth totally suck, fall apart, and have dodgy unrefined engines. The one exception being Ford, who are the only ones who seemed to of done really well here.

There are more and more advertisements from american car brands over here in recent years from the likes of Chevrolet and Chrysler but really you see very very little of them.

It probably doesn't help that 1/6th of our population sit down every sunday to watch jeremy clarkson talk trash on Top Gear about american cars.

11 pounds would be enough to kill 83,158,601,170 people
That's 83 billion people that 11 pounds could kill.
11 pounds= 4.98951607 Kg
4.98951607 Kg to nanograms is multiplied by a factor of 10^12 resulting in = 4.98951607 × 10^12 nanograms or 4,989,516,070,000 nanograms
Divided by 60 results in 8.315860117 *10^10, or 83,158,601,170

10 pounds could kill 75,598,728,330 people.
