Re: Today I have...

Lol. Everynight I hear my dad moaning about looking after Unix and Linux servers, he's the happiest man alive when he gets to work with Windows servers :p
Your dad is clinically insane, then ^_^ Anyone who chooses to work with Windows networking is clearly insane.

Re: Today I have...

Late reply.
I would be driven insane if I left a splinter in. I have to remove them the moment that I get them. The feeling of it annoys me to no end.
I never took it out and apparently it came out on its own :shrugs:

Windows networking is easier than overclocking a 2500k.

Re: Today I have...

Today has been really crap, and then totally awesome !

As some of you may know I have been saving up for PS Vita for quite some time and thus far had managed to save up £145. The mail came today, two letters for me. Opened the first one, a £50 fee from my bank for a very complicated reason that I have yet to decipher, ******** ! After 5 minutes of moaning, I open the 2nd letter, this one tells me I need to renew my car tax for the next 6 months before February 29th at a cost of £92. Double ********!.. 92 + 50 = £142. Yey 2 months of saving and i'm left with £3, majorly unimpressed at this point. In fairness it's my fault for not realising I needed car tax beforehand. But it's easy to forget these things.. and then they just creep up on you.

But then, my fortune turned around. My dad got home, and was oddly happy, which is unusual. After asking him why, it was because he managed to achieve grade A for this year so he got his full bonus, and he was so happy about it he is giving me and my sister £250         yes !

This people, is very VERY odd behaviour from my dad. 99% of the time he is either annoyed at work or worrying about money, and he barely even speaks to me, let alone randomly hands out cash.

Re: Today I have...

Quick! Forget your taxes again!

Today I had 2 doctor appointments, and I left with some Botox in me! Trying to relax some tight muscles. We'll see.

I am a Chrysler employee now, haha. I've owned 3 Jeeps, 2 of which were built under Chrysler. They are definitely cheaply made, but they come out with some of the newest technology in an "American" auto-maker. I had a 2008 Ford F150 and loved it to death, have a Jeep now though. If I were to get a truck it'd either be a Ram or a Ford. I would never buy a Chevy because of what I associate Chevy's with.

This is nothing against you, or America, but Chrysler is just a bad company, and in a way I wish they wouldn't have been bailed out. Glad you got a job though!

Uneducated game journalists annoy me. "Producing PS3 visuals on the PS Vita is an incredible feat". This statement falls flat immediately given several technicalities, chiefly the fact that games like Gran Turismo 5 on PS3 run at 1080P. Thats 1920x1080, which is 2073600. The PSV is 960 x 544, which is 522 240. Thats a quater of the pixels it would have to push if GT5 were to be ported. But even if it was indeed ported (please?), PSV textures and models are not on the PS3's level, they arn't really even close when you blow them up. But you can't see this so easy on a 5" screen, and with the screen OLED it's bound to make graphics look better just due to it being on an OLED screen.

I would wager PSV is not even 1/10th the power of the PS3. How stupid do you have to be to believe it's even close to as powerful ?

I'm not suggesting PSV games don't look awesome, they do, and they look like PS3 visuals due to the aforementioned, but in reality they are not even close. Of probably 10 reviews i've read, atleast half make this statement of the PSV rivalling the PS3's power, and it's getting very irratating.

Another issue is people that do not understand the fact that maybe just maybe some of the bad aspects of the PSV are due to technical limitations, and not just sony being asses. People complaing about not being able to open an infinite applications, and believe it or not one youtube reviewer complained about not being able to play two games at once. Just wow, really ? do these people even know what RAM is ? If not you don't deserve to review a Vita, or any piece of technology for that matter. Leave it to people who can understand and seperate bad design from technical limitations.

Are you talking about the GameInformer review? That one ****ed me off, too. There's nothing wrong with the PSV, and for a handheld, it's a beast. Comparing it to the PS3 isn't fair. For what it is, and was intended to be, Sony did a great job. You can't expect more out of it then what was intended when it was designed. I know I can't wait to get mine.

Sounds strangely familiar..... Really lucky though, that £3 would not have gone far.

Personally I would rather have a GMC Canyon.

GMC Canyon or Chevy Colorado Crew cabs.. Its all about the crew cab for me. Also they get better gas mileage, they are a mid size truck though. 6' bed.

Personally I have never been a fan of the Colorado/Canyon. IMO the only midsize truck worth anything is a Tacoma, legendary quality and the 4.0L V6 is a great engine for a vehicle that size.

The older Tacoma's were absolutely indestructible, just look at everything they did to one on the top gear episode (a Hilux is the same vehicle).
