You just came on a bad year. Usually it is 5 or 10c colder than this. This winter has been very mild in comparison to the previous two. Though looking at model outputs that is showing signs of changing, there is a respectable chance of the majority of february being very cold and snowy.

December was average, but very stormy. You should of came then, at least it was interesting. We had a big storm pretty much every 5 days.
