Every time I hear .50 cal, I immediately think Tremors II where he shoots through the creature, a couple walls, the jeep exterior, the engine, and it just keeps on going, haha. I love that scene.

No but I want to. Unfortunately the only way I could do that aside form buying a $3k rifle is join the security forces and get certified on the M2. As tempting as that sounds I would rather fly.

im pretty sure it was louder then that man, but i have never fired a .50 cal so not sure. But this was very deafening, like more so then a FB and that is saying something.

Wont be ground crew. That's enlisted personnel. Pilot would be nice, but if that doesn't work out chances are I'll be a Terp. Of course there are tons of things I may end up in. Communications (read IT) Air Battle manager (the awacs guys) Navigator, logistics etc.
