in short, the ram was hanging halfway out, so i pushed it back in and the board got mad at me and stopped working, so i stripped it and tried every possible combination i could and nothing so i got really mad and took it out and threw it acrost my room, bouncing off my wall. now it works great. got it running just so i could 3dmark it and compare it to my laptop.

laptop: 2,000 3dmarks

desktop: 12,000 3dmarks.

The improvement from your old rig in accessories alone is great. Not counting the actual specs.

It'll look and be much better once I put in the Asus M3A32, Phenom 9850, after market cooling and 1 or 2 more 3870X2s.
