My EDC (sorry for no pic)

Samsung Galaxy S3
Keys
small Swiss army knife key chain
bland black cloth wallet (holds up better than pleather)

Generally I don't like dealing with any extra crap that I don't regularly need. I've got some extra stuff in my work bag but it's usually just a glasses case, cheap earbuds, a couple of bottles of water, a few granola bars, and a small bottle of Advil just in case.

I'm glad you posted this, I've seen it done on some other tech forums and I have been surprised by some of the interesting and useful things people carry around.

I'd like to carry a slightly larger knife for dealing with packaging and cutting the occasional cable in a pinch but my current jobs policy on them is very poorly worded.

Nice pen btw, I've got a CROSS pen & mechanical pencil set at home but I wouldn't carry them with me as I'm sure I would end up losing them.

That multitool has been my best friend at work. $30 at Walmart, could probably be found cheaper elsewhere.

Verison Samsung Intensity 2 (POS personal phone)
Spring Sanyo flip phone (POS work phone)
Wallet
Two sets of keys
Uniball Roller pen
Case knife (three blades)
Pocket change if I have any

everything else is carried in my car.

My key chain - car, home, work (card and key), and my corsair 32gb 3.0 flash drive
Android Inspire 4G "stupid"phone
Wallet

pretty boring, and it's probably why I never have anything when I need it.

I don't carry a bunch of stuff:
1. Reading glasses - can't read anything without them
2. Droid Razr phone
3. Key chain with car & house keys plus 16G thumb drive
4. Wallet
5. Folding money (if I have any - today I don't)

Things I never carry (that others deem indispensable):
1. Shades - only used in the car while driving so that's where they stay
2. Chapstick - Never had a use for it
3. Knife - Rarely need one
4. Pen/pencil/notepad - I keep those at my desk
5. Tablet/laptop - My phone is more portable so I carry it instead
6. Earbuds - Hate them

How could I've forgotten the chapstick?
It's a bad day when I forget that (especially in winter).
I have to keep some year round. Some big buildings have seriously dry air no matter the time of year.

I use my shades only for in the car as well (because I rarely go out anymore) but I carry them in so when I step outside I'm not blinded.
