Are you serious?

I assume you are using windows; if so, you could enable "showing file extensions for known file types." From any window in explorer, click on
tools -> folder options -> view -> and deselect "hide extensions for known file types"

You could also right-click on the file and then click properties. The extension at the end of the file should tell you.

ok thanx i did go to properties but it didn't show the extension and i didn't know about that toos folder options thing.
