I love Daniel Craig and think he's a bad *** Bond, but I voted for good ole Sean. He was by far the most amazing Bond and definitely the smoothest of them. I grew up with Roger Moore as Bond, but still appreciate Connery much more.

Connery. Only cause he was the first and everyone had to live up to the expectations that he put out there.

Now Craig is a great Bond but he is a darker Bond than we are used to seeing. We are used to seeing a Bond always cool and under control of his feelings. The stories that Craig did were some of the first ones wrote where Bond was actually still very rogue.

That is why you see him do more things out of character than the rest and more kinda vigilante. That is why the Quantom of Solice is mainly about how he goes against the grid and goes after the person who killed his GF. Never before have I seen a Bond movie where he went off like that. Not on a majorly personal vendetta.

Of course i dont remember much of the rest of them. Cause i didnt watch them as much as i watched the Connery films and Craig films.

That was a major part of one or two of the early books where he did stuff like that. Much less cool, I suppose over the next couple of films we'll see his maturation process. But he's very young and hot-headed in the new series.

Well the first film that was done, Casino Royale, was actually a remake of the old British film.

Casino Royale (1967)

That is why i see this Bond being more of a Dark Natured Bond compared to the rest that were cool and played more or less by the rules that were set for him.

Connery was the ***-kicking, take no prisoners womanizer, Moore was the suave smooth talker, Brosnan was a very good mix of both. Dalton was awful and I haven't seen Craig yet. Lazenby was the EMO Bond. Brosnan also benefited from modern technology and more intricate scenarios. I am a huge 007 fan. Luckiest SOB in history.

Casino Royale was based on Ian Flemmings first book which another company made a movie of in 1967 while quantum of solace was inspired by some of Flemmings short stories. The last line from the Casino Royale book is "The B is dead" The movie was loosly take from the book but many of the predominate themes were used for the movie. A case where the movie was actually better than the book.

You should've made this the "Who's the best, non-Sean-Connery, Bond ever" because Sean Connery is kinda like an unmovable divine stone when it comes to BEING Bond.

Moore was entertaining, but I never took him seriously as Bond, he was too much on the wise cracking funny side. I never did see In Her Majesty's Secret Service. Dalton didn't feel classy enough to be Bond, I felt like I was watching generic action films with the Dalton Bond movies. Brosnan is probably the second best Bond, but I'm probably only making that association because of the Goldeneye N64 game..

I've actually yet to see any of the new Daniel Craig stuff.. so yeah
