Please Donate and Help Tsunami Victims!

As you all are aware of the tragic disaster which struck in South East Asia and the death - toll has already exceeded 116,000 people. Let us make an effort of helping the poor victims by donating for their welfare.

I think its 140000 people.

Anyways, I do not think the people get anything from donations. Bush and his Unicef/UN will get that money.

no they dont, they get some of the money but not all of it, and it matters what donation company you use.

Over all, there is plenty of other causes that are giving donations. I've given AU$100 to the Red Cross.
Mainly because I know the money their will get over there.

One of my freinds happen to be in Shi-Lanka 24 hours before the distaster hit. i am glad she is back in the country now.

it is a terible disaster, however... i agree with Harper... if you're going to give, give to the right place... Red Cross is what i would consider to be the best place to donate now.
